Screen Printing Process

Ceramic screen printing

Two printing processes are used for the various architectural materials, glass and ceramic:

  • ceramic screen printing and
  • ceramic digital printing.

Both processes have in common the resistant finishing of the substrate materials. Enamelled glass or decorated facade tiles are suitable for interior and exterior use.

In ceramic screen printing, screens are exposed to the motif or decor and the colour is applied to tiles, tiles or glass panes through the screen. With our special technique and our many years of experience, with ceramic transfer pictures for porcelain in the luxury market we are in a position also to decorate shapes.

For example, stove parts made of ceramic (e.g. top plate) can be fabricated in various material reproductions or with individual designs:

  • UV-stable
  • weather and corrosion resistant
  • scratch and abrasion proof
  • chemical resistant

Ceramic screen printing is recommended for large print runs with consistent motifs, as well as for the desire for effects such as sandblasting optics or precious metal decors.
