With Laura Straßer, our manufactory has gained a source of inspiration for the design of incomparable ceramic products. Design is not created in a “quiet little room”, but in exchange with the specialists from our production. In a respectful atmosphere, designs were turned into ceramic furniture, objects and accessories ready for series production. By playing with different finishing techniques and shapes, a captivating combination of tradition and modernity is created for design lovers. In addition, all the materials used are naturally occurring raw materials.
The designer behind the brand
Laura Straßer studied product design in Weimar and is now Professor of Ceramic and Glass Design at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle. Since setting up her design studio in Berlin over 10 years ago, Laura Straßer has worked on numerous projects and products that are continually presented at international trade fairs and exhibitions. Her designs have already been presented at the Milan Furniture Fair, Salone del Mobile, Ambiente in Frankfurt and Maison et Objet in Paris. As a specialist for white gold, she designs and develops porcelain and ceramic products suitable for the material. Her creations are mainly in the fields of interior design, fine dining and living. Despite having international customers, she continues to work closely with local porcelain and ceramics companies, as it is in collaboration with industry experts that innovative and forward-looking concepts are created. We share her passion for handmade, contemporary ceramics and have created an entire product line with Laura Straßer.
